Perrachon family has made wines for generations in Beaujolais, the area that starts at the southern tip of Burgundy, where the gamay grape is grown. They have become masters of their art, making delightful light bodied wines of rich fruit character. The wine is named le Roche Bleu after the blue rock that is found in the soil where the vines grow. This wine may unravel your heart strings and slip you into rapturous love. The wine is very structured (although the tannins are integrated and hidden), it is age worthy and will last several days after opening retaining its charming flavor.
